The new hotel will have a total of 56 rooms that will be extremely well equipped and very comfortable, meeting the criteria of the most demanding guests.

Guests will find a range of facilities from a wellness area, a large gym, swimming pool, conference rooms, and more.

After Singapore, Dubai, Brussels, Kranjska Gora, and many other cities around the world, the famous hotel chain “Ramada” – a hotel that adorns 4-stars – will be built for the first time in Croatia, and more precisely in Split in Pazdigrad.

According to Slobodna Dalmacija, the hotel will be housed in a large, reinforced concrete tower west of the retail center “Plodine”, which has stood derelict for 5 years now. The building was supposed to become a large office tower with eight floors back in 2011, which included an exclusive club, exotic restaurant with a heliport, and panoramic elevator…and then the construction stopped.

Just last month, things at the site started picking up again, and today we know why.

“Once we resolved all the financial problems with the former contractor, the company “Zagorje Tehnobeton”, and banks, we opted for a very different option. The tower will remain unchanged from the outside, so that their views and looks will not differ from the original. But its purpose has changed, because instead of an office tower we will build a hotel. Because of the conversion project, we had to request additional licenses, which should arrive in the coming days.

Also, we have a few lenders on offer and we hope that there will be no obstacles to realize this investment, which will cost about 10 million euros,” says Saša Svalina, the first man at the “Toranj Grupe” from Kaštel Štafilić, which is the investor of the facility. More info
